YELLOW VAN & CO ALAMEDA TRUCKER

$ 35.00

When one of the world’s largest Naval Air Stations was built in Alameda in the 1930’s, the sleepy resort destination became a Navy town. A base was built, and massive jet hangars were constructed. Downtown, barber shops, diners and a movie theater popped up to cater to the Navy families.

The Air Station closed in 1997. The hangars now house distilleries, taprooms, artist workshops and tech startups. The barber shops, diners and historic movie theater are still around, making for an eclectic mix of throwback to bygone era and innovative reimagining of defunct airfields.

The Alameda retro trucker has a mid-profile crown, curved brim and snapback closure (OSFA - one size fits all).
